[Verse 1]

My hands are tired

My knees feel worn

I’ve been fighting shadows

Since the break of dawn

I stare at the mess

And I want to quit

My heart says run now

But I can’t quite sit

[Pre-Chorus]

Still, You stay near

When I lose my breath

You hold the line

When I’m close to death

[Chorus]

You fight my battles

You fight my battles

When I can’t stand

You stand for me

You fight my battles

You fight my battles

I may fall down

But I am free

[Verse 2]

I’ve got torn-up prayers

On a scarred-out page

I’ve got fear in my chest

And a storm in my cage

I tried on my own

And I came up short

But mercy found me

At the end of my report

[Pre-Chorus]

Still, You stay near

When I lose my breath

You hold the line

When I’m close to death

[Chorus]

You fight my battles

You fight my battles

When I can’t stand

You stand for me

You fight my battles

You fight my battles

I may fall down

But I am free

[Bridge]

I let go

I let You in

This is where

Your strength begins

Not by might

Not by my hand

You go before me

You make me stand

[Final Chorus]

You fight my battles

You fight my battles

When I can’t stand

You stand for me

You fight my battles

You fight my battles

I may fall down

But I am free

You fight my battles

You fight my battles

So I won’t run

I will believe
